A New Toy for the Rink!

A new toy for the rink boys, JRMCC Sports & Recreation just purchased this new used 2019 Olympia ice resurfacer with only 400 kms on it and which was previously owned by Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Capitals!

Tri-Community Dance Club wants to extend our deepest gratitude to all who made last nights showcase possible. Thank you to our dance instructors Jenna Trawin & Dorinda Stahl, our dance assistant Paiton Tegstrom , & our youth assistants, Amelia Putz & Najila McIntosh and ALL our amazing dancers for putting on an incredible show & for working SO hard this past session. Thank you to New Dawn Drum Group for opening our show by honoring our dancers and the community with your powerful songs. Thank you to Lukas Cardinal and Charlene Bosiak for sharing your incredible dances and inspiring everyone with your performances. Thank you to Cathy Wheaton Bird for sharing a prayer in dance form to open our documentary premier, it was beautiful and your regalia was spectacular. Thank you to Churchill Community High School for allowing us to use the venue & in particular Tanner Tinker who is incredibly accommodating, helpful & supportive. Thank you to Donna Malach and the The Performing Arts Warehouse for setting up shop in La Ronge and helping to accessorize & prepare our dancers with needed gear & just all around supporting us! Thank you to Marker 47 Café for the delicious cookies for our cookie bar. Thank you to Lawrence A. Roy Jr.Sarah Hoag & Chancz Perry for all of the support, for being with us this week in spirit, for sending your kind and supportive words, and, Chancz, especially for you traveling all that way to come witness and be part of our documentary premier. Gosh it meant so much to us to have you here!!! Thank you to our incredible community. Dance families, you must be so proud. We sure are!! Thank you for sharing your children with us, trusting us, supporting us & for helping to bring dance into our community. Enjoy your break & holiday season. We can’t wait to start back up with our classes in January!!! For our children who participated in classes but couldn’t be at the show, we missed you and we were so glad you were part of the team that got us to the stage.

Tri-Community Dance Club is thrilled to be able to showcase our fall dance session teams as well as a mini documentary premier that we created with b/w Photo, Dance Saskatchewan, and with funding and support through SK Arts, Dance Saskatchewan, the Town La Ronge, & JRMCC SPORTS & RECREATION DEPT.. “The Circle Unites Us” is about bringing dance into our community, the fusion of hip hop and hoop dance and the impacts of dance on us all. It features many of the children and our incredible instructors Chancz Perry, Lawrence A. Roy Jr., & our support and background folks like Sarah Hoag & Art by Annalisa. We hope you’ll join us in celebration of these two events. Attend one or both!! Connect with us if you have any questions.

Please keep the facility clean and tidy

While we do have a janitor for the facility, there are times when members can also help keep the facility clean and tidy when the janitor is not on shift. With that in mind we’ve installed a extend your membership an extra day for that purpose. Give us a hand in keeping our facility nice and clean. If we catch you on camera doing this enough times, we will extend your membership an extra day!
