The Crossfit Open 2022 starts today! It’s a 3 week, 3 workout (one workout per week release)! So for the next 3 weekends on Saturday’s we will be throwing down some sweat and putting up the numbers! You can participate or just come and watch the fun!

22.1 Workout has been posted and we would love you to join us in competing in the global competition that is open to all levels of fitness.

As Many Rounds As Possible in 15 minutes:

1. RX Level
3 wall walks
12 dumbbell snatches
15 box jump-overs50-lb dumbbell, 24-in box

2. Scaled Level
3 wall walks
12 dumbbell snatches
15 box jump-overs
Scaled wall walks, 35-lb dumbbell, 24-in box, may step up on box jump-overs

3. Foundations Level
3 bear crawls
12 dumbbell snatches
15 box step-overs

20-lb dumbbell, 12-in box
It doesn’t matter which level you do, it’s all for fun and you get to see where you rank on a global scale!
Emma and I are currently registered along with almost 300,000 other people from around the world ?So if you are interested in participating and doing the workouts with us for a little bit of fun, here is what you need to do!

It’s $20USD to register on the website, you can download the Crossfit Games App and track where you place. Last year I placed 36,491 out of 137,455. Which is cool to see the progression year after year!

2. The workouts are released every Thursday and must be completed by Monday. We are doing Open Throwdowns on Saturdays! So join us on the following:

February 26 from 11am-2pm

March 5 from 12pm-3pm (This will be during the Winter Festival and a demo to any viewers that want to come!)

March 12 from 12pm-3pm (This will be during the Winter Festival and a demo to any viewers that want to come!)

We will also be holding drop in classes on the following days:
Tuesday March 1, 5:30-6:30pm & 6:30pm-7:30pm
Thursday March 3, 5:30-6:30pm & 6:30pm-7:30pm

Drop in Classes will be $10 each and will be first come, first serve, so if interested please let me know so I can secure you a spot.

The Covid Community Study is looking for participants

The COVID CommUNITY Study is to help provide information on the immune response to the COVID vaccine or infections in First Nations in Canada, the impact of the illness in our communities, and the factors influencing vaccine acceptance. It is being conducted in partnership with Lac La Ronge Indian Band, the University of Saskatchewan (with Drs. Sylvia Abonyi and James Irvine), several other First Nations in Canada and the Population Health Research Institute through McMaster University. All Lac La Ronge Indian Band members 18 years of age and older are welcome to participate whether you have received a vaccination or not.
