JRMCC Sports & Recreation is pleased to welcome Ken Thomas, FSIN Director of Sports, Culture & Recreation, and Brad McEwen, Program Coordinator of the Ochapowace Nation Sports Academy and Hockey Canada Head Scout to our community. JRMCC/Lac La Ronge Indian Band has been selected as a site to host a licensed sports academy (not a CHSSL one to be clear) and both men provided an overview of what the program would entail. Overall, a very exciting day for our sports and recreation program!
