Ty JRMCC for providing a space, and even bigger thank you for allowing us to use it free of charge. It is GREATLY appreciated.

Some of the amazing staff at #NortheastVeterinaryClinic in Tisdale that make the monthly wellness/vaccine clinics in La Ronge possible as well as the spay/neuter trip clinics that we have done the last couple of months. They have been a huge success so far and we look forward to many more to come.On each vaccine/wellness clinic Dr Mike sees an average of approximately 25-30 animals in a day. For the two spay/neuter trips so far Dr Karen and Dr Mike have spayed/neutered a total of about 20 animals. Not only do they set aside a fair amount of their day to perform these surgeries, they also start at 6am in the morning so that the fur babies are finished early in the day allowing me to get them home at a reasonable time.

I would also like to send a shoutout to Kevin Roberts and the staff at #JRMCC. They have graciously provided space for the vaccine/wellness clinics to be held. #NAR is also an integral part making these clinics happen. Whether it is advertising the clinics, helping individuals get their registration forms in, assisting in financial assistance through loans, providing the use of their van to transport the animals to Tisdale to be spayed/neutered, or helping load the van for the trips, they are more than willing to help in any way they can to help.

Thank you to everyone involved in making Veterinary services more accessible in the north.

IT’S GAME DAY!

The only two to receive the Sportsmanship Award and I couldn’t be happier to share this moment with my sister, colleague, and best friend. 💛For those of you who don’t know, my job title is sports coordinator and Michelle’s job title is recreation coordinator. Working in the Sports & Recreation Department has been such a rewarding journey — 5 years for me and 2.5 years for my sister. We truly love what we do. It’s not always easy, and yes, it can be exhausting at times, but seeing the positive impact we make makes it all worth it.Here’s to doing what we love, together! #SportsmanshipAward #SistersInSports #ProudMoment #SportsAndRecreation
