Sometimes there’s just no excuses. Here’s 52-year old Mark Williment who jogs a minimum of 10 kms pretty much every day (today he did 14 kms). Mark is a great example of how pursuing a better you requires dedication, self-motivation, and commitment!

JRMCC is awarded the Community Rink Affordability Grant!
JRMCC Sports & Recreation would like to thank the Government of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Parks & Recreation Association (SPRA) for the providing the Community Rink Affordability Grant (CRAG) in the amount of $2,500.00, essential financial support that will be used to offset our rink operations!

It’s never too late and you’re never too old to exercise. This is the inspirational and active 82-year old Andrew Gracie. He attends the fitness center 2-3 times per week and has been a gym member for several years. Andrew is a great example of what we’re about, pursuing a better you!

JRMCC hosting the local on-reserve vaccination site
Our facility is multi-functional which allows us to host various types of functions and events. With sports and recreation activities on some down time, we can easily switch roles to assist in the pandemic situation which we’ve done from time to time. Today we’re excited to play host as the local on-reserve vaccination site!

New Rink crew member! Welcome Cody!
We would like to welcome Cody Charles to the team. Cody is apart of the LLRIB youth work experience program and is working with our rink crew. In the brief time since he’s started with us, he’s already proven his reliability, willingness to take direction and eagerness to learn new skills!
