Fitness Supervisor says Farewell
Shared by Colin Ratushniak
Hi Everyone!
Today is the day that I bid farewell to La Ronge. It’s been a pleasure to serve you all in various capacities especially at the JRMCC which has been my second home and sometimes I feel like my first. It was a labour of love to transform the fitness facility into its greatest potential, making it a space that members felt welcome at but also a place that compares to top notch training facilities around the world.
Thank you for allowing me to help create that along with all the out of the box thinking to make it happen especially with the challenges of a pandemic. I of course could not have implemented this vision without an incredible team at the JR, including Kevin Roberts, Arnold Mirasty, Nichole Charles, Shelby Ratt, Darryl Bird and our rink staff. This also could not have been achieved without the relentless help from Emma Smallwood and the team of coaches who are now working to become the next leaders in our programming.
With this all said, thank you to the members. When I started back in 2019 we had 95 active members. At our peak this summer we were at 325+! So without further adieu, I pass the torch to Emma Smallwood who most of you know already as she temporarily fills the roll until the permanent position is filled.
You can continue to make renewal payments to [email protected] as we transition Emma to taking over that system and that should take place by next Monday. So if you see that the deposit has been accepted by me, know that Emma will eventually take this over and your funds are being transferred correctly.
I’ve cc’d Emma into this email ([email protected]) and her phone number is: 306-425-8689 if you have any questions going forward.
Attached are some before and after pics of the facelift 🙂
Fall is just around the corner, so if you are looking to get back it attached are the available membership rates. Contact your employer as well to see if we have negotiated corporate rates as well.
