TCDC wants to shout out a huge thank you to our sponsors & partners who contributed to the dance camp last week! Thank you to JRMCC SPORTS & RECREATION DEPT. for providing us with the space to dance, to Kevin Kaminski for being a super host at the AirBnB for our instructor, and to Jenna Trawin, our amazing dance instructor from The Performing Arts Warehouse in PA. Another enormous thanks to the Dancers & Families for coming out and dancing with us last week. We had SO much fun and learned SO much in a short time.

LLRIB Men’s Team 3rd in the Consolation Match Play Event, 7th overall and 2nd best for Saskatchewan teams at the First Nations Cup at Dakota Dunes in Saskatoon

JRMCC Sports & Recreation is proud to have supported and sponsored the LLRIB men’s team who attended the 32-team First Nations Cup at Dakota Dunes in Saskatoon. The team placed third in the Consolation Match Play event, 7th overall and 2nd best for Saskatchewan teams. Both our men’s and women’s teams have steadily improved their standings every year. As well, Jerry Christiansen was awarded the stroke play low score of the Player 1 grouping.

Good Luck to all our LLRIB Athletes Attending the North American Indigenous Games this week in Halifax

Good luck to all our LLRIB athletes (a couple missing here) attending the North American Indigenous Games this week in Halifax. This is a huge accomplishment for our youth and we wanted to make sure our athletes were taken care of. JRMCC Sports & Recreation covered the full athlete’s Team Sask fees and a big thank you to La Ronge Council, specifically Councilor Dean Roberts, for spearheading additional financial support of $500.00 per athlete.
