NSCRD is hosting a Building/Facility Maintenance Level 2 Course in La Ronge at the JRMCC, Monday & Tuesday, November 20-21, 2023, at 8:30am-4:30pm.
There is no cost to this course however registration is required. Registration deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 3:00pm.
Course Description: This course builds upon the Level 1 course. This advanced course provides a further review of facility maintenance practices. This course is designed to help Facility Operators and supervisors have a deeper understanding of the workings of their facilities. Knowing how systems function will help the Facility Operator and supervisor better understand when repairs are required and how to perform preventative maintenance. This course is designed to manage any type of municipal facilities including private facilities.
It allows practitioners to have a better level of communication with contractors and tradespeople for troubleshooting and coordinating repairs. This advanced course will help Facility Operators and supervisors understand how to troubleshoot, perform repairs, train staff, and implement lifecycle planning to get the most useful life from their assets.

Prerequisites: None.
Course Information: Course starts at 8:30am to 4:30pm. Lunch is not provided.
