Posted by Natalie Aldridge. Hello Soccer community!Soccer season is fast approaching with an expected start date of Aug 24, 2026 and registration opening up shortly!
We are working on finalizing dates and times. However, we are in desperate need of coaches for this upcoming season. As it stands, we do not have enough coaches for U5, U7 and U9. We cannot offer soccer for these age groups without coaches. You do not have to be an expert to coach and there will be plenty of people to help provide some guidance! To become a soccer coach you only need a few things:The Coach Soccer in Canada course. It can be done online and only takes about an hour. The club will reimburse costs.Respect in Sport course. This can also be done online and takes roughly 60-75 minutes. The club will reimburse costs.Criminal record and Vulnerable Sectors check. The RCMP detachment hands these out on Thursdays after 1pm. We can give you a form to take to the detachment before Thursday. It is free and only requires ID. We can not offer soccer for all children in the tri-community without your help! Please consider volunteering just a couple hours per week of your time to ensure we can offer soccer for all!
