New Moms Gym Time at JRMCC

We’re trying something new at the gym 👶💪This is something we’ve never done before, so we’re going to run it as a trial and see how it goes. We want to create a space for new moms on mat leave to get back into the gym while building a bit of community along the way.

🕘 New Moms Gym Time

Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM

During this time, moms are welcome to bring their babies into the gym. This is the quietest time of day for us, as most members are at work. (Strollers are always welcome on the track as usual!)As many of you know, we’ve always had strict rules about kids in the gym for safety reasons—so this is why we’re approaching this carefully with a few guidelines to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable.

Rules for this time: All babies MUST be in a carrierBabies must be between 0–12 months old

Workouts must take place during the designated timeMoms must have an active gym membership

At the J, we care deeply about both physical and mental health. Postpartum can be an incredibly challenging time, and we’re hoping this offers a supportive environment to help moms ease back into fitness while connecting with others. We’re excited to see how this goes 💛

Please understand that this is a pilot project and it may not end up being the best fit for the gym. That said, I’m committed to working toward a solution that does. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to navigate and improve this offering.
