We’ve heard our organization partners saying they want to get kids interested in playing goalie sooner and having a chance to try the position out. Well, we heard you loud and clear! We’re super excited to have purchased two sets of the Bauer Learn to Save goalie equipment sets! This gear goes on overtop of player equipment, creating opportunities to get a lot of kids in and out of net during an ice time without taking the time required for a full equipment change. Because of this, parents also don’t need to purchase equipment for their kid to try the position. This means less barriers for kids trying out hockey’s greatest position, and more kids getting to discover their love for stopping pucks!Stay tuned for some Try Goalie events, including one during the upcoming Hockey & Health Days in La Ronge!
