Elections bring about hope, optimism and renewal. While we choose to remain politically neutral during elections, it is within our discretion to congratulate candidates after the fact, after all we love sharing positive news. JRMCC Sports & Recreation would like to congratulate our very own, Colin Ratushniak, on his lopsided electoral victory for Mayor of La Ronge. With a record-breaking voter turnout, this is an obvious sign people wanted change in a big way and it’s a safe bet to say a lot of people likely didn’t see this coming either!

Hard work in the gym tends to leads to other opportunities, congratulations to Parker and Cobe on your leadership roles, such a huge honor for these great young gentlemen! Great work boys!

La Ronge Midget 89ers, proud members of the North East Minor Hockey League (NEMHL), would like to thank Sonny Montilla and The Source-La Ronge for the awesome donation of an IPad (7th Generation) valued at $500.00. The NEMHL is implementing a new electronic game sheet system for its league games which involves the use of a mandatory IPad. The Source is great local business giving back to the community!
