An initiative from SHA – Health Line 811, in collaboration with the Tri-Community leadership is we received 500 thermometers for FREE distribution in combating barriers to self-checking temperatures. It’s important that we all take our temperatures as often as possible before going to work, school or to public places as abnormal temperatures can be early indication of various illnesses including COVID. Thermometers have been delivered to various locations throughout the TRI-COMMUNITIES today and are available for pick up during regular business hours. The only thing required to receive these FREE thermometers are 3 short questions:1. Do you have a thermometer?2. Have you heard of HealthLine 811?3. How many people live in your household? No personal data will be collected.
The locations are as follows:- JRMCC(Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm) – Jeannie Bird Clinic(Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm) – Village of Air Ronge Office(Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:15pm) – Town of La Ronge(Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm) – La Ronge Health Centre – Main Reception(24 Hours) – La Ronge Medical Clinic(Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm)
Hi Everyone! The JRMCC SPORTS & RECREATION DEPT. was awarded a grant from Participaction this year to get the Tri-Community moving in the month June called “Community Better Challenge!” Therefore during the entire month of June, it’s our plan to partner and host as many moving activities in the Tri-Community. The best part is that we plan to offer these activities for FREE to all participants and that we also get to compete against other communities via the Participaction app through tracking activities minutes. Our goal is be crowned ‘Canada’s Most Active Community!’ Now here is where I need your help!
Please comment below of what activities you would like to:
see and do (our aim is to expose as many new activities to people as possible to spark new interests) ex: crossfit, baseball, rollerblading, guided trail walks, canoeing, run club etc.
host or organize (the only way this can be successful, is with willing volunteers to help organize and host) We will help provide the facilities and equipment as required.
We are open to any suggestions you might have and look forward to an active June! Please contact me at 204-441-1914 or via email at [email protected]
