After two years of playing away games and building our credibility in the NEMHL’s U18 division, its pretty exciting to announce the 89ers will host four league games here at JRMCC Arena this season!
Hi everyone, now that hockey season is approaching I figured I should re-share this! If you know any goalies who might be interested please feel free to share it with them!
I’d put this out right in the middle of the summer when there was no ice available and everyone was understandably not focused on hockey at the moment. With the minor hockey season right around the corner, it seemed like a good time to re-share this! If you know a goalie who is part of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band please feel free to share this with them! This is open to goalies in any community, as long as you’re willing to drive into La Ronge for the sessions!
To apply, please send me a direct message, email me, or send me a text at 519-994-7210, and provide the following information:- name/age/number of years playing goalie- three areas you’d like to improve on during the season- if you are awarded the scholarship how will you pay it forward to your community this year or in the future?
If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me! Looking forward to seeing everyone on the ice very soon!
JRMCC will be open today Thursday September 30 and will be observing our new LLRIB stat day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, on Friday October 1.
We will open Friday specifically to host the Hockey Sask Coach Clinic only.
It’s not official until its Facebook official, with that please welcome Nichole Charles as our new Recreation Coordinator. Nichole is a familiar face to our organization, as has started out as a summer student a couple years ago, then became our administrative assistant and has now been promoted to her new position.
