The Sask Volleyball Referee Committee strongly encourages all Sask Volleyball Referees to attend a clinic every year. Clinics are sponsored by both Sask Volleyball and the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association. At these clinics, Referees will register with Sask Volleyball for the new season, review the rules and procedures, be introduced to new rules and/or interpretations for the year, and will prepare for the upcoming High School season. New and returning Referees are invited to attend.

Registration will stay open to everyone. The update was there was 3 hrs to the first 2 sessions for both days. Every Ice time is 1hr 45min.

No word on U9 tryouts as we are looking at dates that work. For the rest we’re using woodland tryouts to look at LLRIB players. If we don’t have coaches, then unfortunately, we won’t be taking that category 😔

Reminder! There are signs everywhere that you MUST wear a helmet. Wearing a helmet looks a lot cooler than being hurt, we don’t want to have to shut down due to youth not following these rules. If you are the adult please be a role model. Helmets are provided!

If you don’t follow our rules we will have to ask you to leave.

THIS GOES TO PRIVATE BOOKINGS AS WELL!

We have cameras to ensure that this rule, and other rules, are followed.

Yesterday we hosted a NEMHL regular season game featuring the La Ronge Ice Wolves and Tisdale Rambers.

As part of our little tradition here at JRMCC, we also hosted a fish fry for the visiting team.

It’s not only about being a good host but also doing our little part to change hearts and minds with good deeds!

The cold weather 🥶🎿 has set in for last few weeks. So we took our practice indoors today. Great venue and big thanks to JRMCC SPORTS & RECREATION DEPT. for the space.

Youth Strength and Conditioning is back at the JRMCC starting March 1st!

With two workouts a week, this 10-week program will teach young athletes proper technique, and improve power, speed, and muscular + cardiovascular endurance.

Open to athletes of any sport who are committed to improving their game!
