Youth Fine Arts Night Saturday May 8th

Shared by Jess Green

The time has come for our dancers to perform on stage! Along with our dancers, we will also be hosting some great acts from our local youth, including musical talents and an art showcase and auction. Also, a few dancers from the Performing Arts Warehouse in Prince Albert will be joining us. We will make a night out of it! Let’s celebrate youth in the arts! Everyone welcome!

Good luck to Kelli, we wish you all the best!

JRMCC Sports & Recreation is proud to support and sponsor Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) member Kelli Young who plays women’s tackle football with the 6-time Western Women’s Canadian Football League (WWCFL) champions, Saskatoon Valkyries. Kelli will also be attending the women’s National Team camp this weekend in Ottawa. Kelli is sponsored in part by the JRMCC Sports & Recreation’s 4A (Athletics, Arts, Adolescent & Adult Skills Enhancement) Fund in support of elite athletes and artists. Good luck to Kelli, we wish you all the best!

Hello Dance Families! Our next class is Saturday May 7th with Jenna in person. We are moving into the final performance preparation, so if your child has not been attending regularly but you want them to participate in the final performance (& optional performances) please send them for the remaining classes where they will be practicing their routines. If your child has not been attending regularly and they will not be part of the performance that is also okay, and we still encourage them to attend, but just want to let you all know that we are starting to practice now for the showcase so it is particularly important that children come so they can get to know their routines. We are so excited for them to show you what they have been working on! Families, please keep checking your email and look for communications from us on this in the coming days. On Saturday, please come see me at the table I will have set up so that we can talk about the final performances. If you are interested in volunteering to help out please let us know.
